Couni Young, owner of the Farmington Hills-based Go Go Wardrobe Pro, has hit a home run with her latest project. She has been hired on as costume designer for the new baseball movie, Home Run Showdown, set to begin shooting in metro Detroit in early August.
"My job is to take what the producers, director and art director have in mind for the overall look of the movie, and make it come to life with my own flair," Young said. "I'm responsible for clothing every human that's not naked."
And considering Home Run Showdown is a family movie about Little League baseball players, that means dressing everyone from the main character - a 12-year-old boy determined to play on the local team, to the misfit coach who leads them to the Major League Home Run Derby.
