PR/Marketing: Jobs Landed

Skidmore is a full service creative studio offering everything from illustration to traditional print design to 3D and interactive. I'm responsible for guiding clients on interactive solutions as well as utilizing the web to promote their business. This includes web site architecture, design and development; search engine optimization and marketing; social media and online advertising. It's so interesting that part of my job is to keep current with the latest technologies and web trends; I essentially get paid to play with new things online. Besides having a new challenge every day, I really enjoy being able to ride my bike to work, take advantage of downtown Royal Oak shops and restaurants at lunchtime and spend each day in a creative environment.

I am responsible for launching and driving new business for the Metro Detroit branch of Web Search Marketing, Inc.. I work closely with clients to determine there needs, from website design to a fully integrated interactive marketing campaign, and develop a strategy to help them use the web to accomplish there business goals.  As part of the Web Shop Company, a leading web design and development company working with some of the Midwest’s leading brands, we help small, medium and large companies implement website design, Search Engine Optimization, Pay-Per-Click Advertising, Database Management, Email Marketing into their integrated marketing strategy.

I am currently responsible for managing the Walmart (the world's largest retailer) and US Navy (the world's most amazing military branch) accounts at GlobalHue, the premier multicultural advertising agency.  I am responsible for providing strategic thought leadership in spearheading integrated marketing solutions that help our clients meet their objectives, whether they are to build their brand or grow their sales with the African-American community.  I work with an incredibly diverse team (you will never find another Agency like it) of amazing individuals who are experts in developing impactful strategies, game changing big ideas, and breakthrough creative.  I can honestly say, there is no place like it!

I provide PR support and integrated communications initiatives for various clients including the Michigan Economic Development Corporation.
