As a System Attribute Engineer I'm developing systems that exceed consumer expectations, help reduce emissions and improve fuel economy and quality. I'm able to work on prototype cars and trucks and perform testing in some of the harshest conditions mother nature can conjure up. In the short time that I've been working at Ford, I've found an exceptional level of professionalism and integrity amongst my colleagues. I'm impressed with the culture that exists and the direction that Ford is heading.

I am responsible for diversifying the company's customer base into automotive, as well as non-automotive business.

I travel across the country to auto shows and corporate sponsorships year-round as a representative of Ford Motor Company.  At auto shows, I engage attendees on the entire Ford brand.  This ranges from answering any questions about the company or vehicles, to demonstrating features and new technology.  At corporate sponsorships, I do the same things plus assist in the setup and tear down of the event.

My main objective as one of the account leads that works with the divisional retail teams at General Motors is to develop and execute effective marketing campaigns that create showroom traffic at dealerships.  The team works to rapidly take a GM sales event and turn the key messaging into a personalized direct mail/email piece that comes to the consumer directly from their dealership. It’s fun to dive into data, see where people are likely to be in their new car buying cycle and create a campaign to get them in that new car. I love working with the team I’m on—we have a great group of individuals who truly understand the automotive environment and pull together some amazing concepts in a very short time.  Turns out late night and weekends aren’t just for the medical profession!  This office also does event and digital marketing for a variety of clients. 

In this assignment at GM, I am currently responsible for the performance, testing and validation of safety restraints for all occupants in the rear seat of a future luxury car.  I perform modeling analysis of different crash scenarios to assess performance to meet all corporate and federal regulations.  These tests help establish a baseline for tuning the vehicle with physical tests.  Many of these tests are equiped with instrumented dummies ranging from infants in child seats to adults.  I also am responsible for managing all rollover testing for this vehicle.  We evaluate various physical tests out at the Milford Proving Grounds.  Tests are designed to mimic actual safety incidents on the road ways, such as curb and soil trips, corkscrew, and ditch fall over, in order to assess the restraint performance, as well as provide data from the sensing hardware for all the airbag deployments.

As a Calibration Engineer at GM, I test and Calibrate automatic transmissions to meet Fuel economy and Drive quality standards.  

I manage all the Sales and Marketing in the Midwest territory east of the Mississippi River and west of the App Mountains.  I work with clients (automotive and non-automotive) to create advertising and marketing programs that best fit their marketing initiatives focusing on print, online and event executions.

Our team is working on end to end lead system.  A lead is information about a potential buyer, in our business the lead was probably submitted by the potential buyer on a website.  Our system electronically receives leads, qualifies the leads, distributes them to the appropriate dealer, recommends handling of the lead, and provides reporting and analytics on the leads.

As a Vision System Engineer, I install, setup, and support various industry standard vision systems for error proofing, traceability, identification, and robot guidance.
