As an account executive for 89X and 93.9 The River radio stations, I help local businesses develop a niche in their target market. I prospect companies that make sense with our station audience and meet with decision makers to learn more about them. Every client is unique, and uncovering their specific goal is necessary before developing a campaign. Once I understand their objectives, I research market trends and collaborate with our sales, promotions, creative and production departments to develop an integrated goal-specific plan. I then present ideas for the campaign utilizing the on-air, online, promotional, sponsorship, programming and tie-in capabilities of our radio stations. It feels great to hear your client on-air and even better when the client sees results. My office is full of young creative professionals who work hard and play hard too.
