Manufacturing: Jobs Landed

I am responsible for creating and implementing full cycle recruiting strategies to meet near term and long term recruiting needs.  I work to develop local and national recruiting plans, partner with existing third party vendors and recruiters, employ traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as develop new, innovative recruiting ideas. My position plays a critical role in ensuring that the organization is finding high quality talent.  I also have oversight of the immigration and work authorization visa processes for new employees and existing employees.

I am the showroom manager of DeGiulio Industries' Plymouth showroom. With a background in cabinet-making and installation, I am currently designing, selling, and project managing kitchen and bathroom projects.  It is always great to see the smile on the homeowners face when you can make their design concept become a reality for them to enjoy.  Working in this field has been such a pleasure.  Not only from building relationships with the homeowners but also with suppliers and other professionals in the industry.   

I assume the administrative tasks of software engineers so they can concentrate solely on their technical tasks. This includes inputting info for changes they are to perform into a database for tracking purposes, ensuring the info is complete and correct, and presenting these changes on behalf of the software engineer to GM  IT executives at various approval meetings.

After my salesman closes a sale, it is my responsibility to see that the order is completed (including securing payment, coordinating with the vendors, and communicating with internal departmental managers to get the order out the door). With M1 Distribution, I am responsible for taking dealer orders, ordering equipment from our vendors, and making sure those orders are carried out.

I am responsible for marketing a full line of products and services ranging from indirect material management to commercial construction.
