Description:Group Associates, Inc. is an insurance agency specializing in employee benefit programs. The .NET Developer will support the development and enhancements of a number of projects using, but not limited to, Microsoft technologies. Requirements:• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience • At least 3 years solid experience in VB.Net/ASP.NET and SQL Server developing • Understand web architecture such as session, cache, cookies, etc. • Comfortable utilizing Visual Studio 2008 and working with SQL Server database • Overall understanding of web applications and web sites behavior • Strong analytical capabilities, expertise in troubleshooting system problems and proposing solutions • Knowledge and experience with CSS, XHTML, AJAX, and JavaScript • Experience with client side page performance optimizations • Prioritize effectively and handle shifting priorities professionally • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, well organized, with solid attention to detail • Dependable self-starter who demonstrates initiative to create improvements • Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance
