Description:Under the direction of the Human Resources Manager and staff. Provide technical and administrative human resources assistance in carrying out the policies and programs of the department to meet its goals and objectives. Provide administrative assistance in the recruitment and selection process. Assist Talent Acquisition Specialist with new hire orientations. Provide support of record keeping and reporting requirements for assigned area including, but not limited to, affirmative action/applicant tracking, and FMLA. Prepare letters, memos or other correspondence in accordance with instructions. Perform other related duties as necessary.
Requirements:This position is intended for a college student who desires experience in the Human Resources field and is willing to perform this internship for a minimum of 10 weeks. Third year or higher student in a Bachelors degree program majoring in Human Resources, I/O Psychology, Business Administration preferred. Applicant will be asked for samples of past projects as well as, a current resume at time of interview.
