This is an entry classification used by several County Departments to obtain beginning level business staff.  Under direct supervision, receives in-service training and technical guidance while assisting in the performance of a wide variety of duties in one of the County business offices.  May input and check the accuracy of financial information, provide basic calculations and reports, perform operating program analysis, utilize mainframe/or and personal computer data to compile spreadsheet information, develop narrative and statistical reports, develop and administer personnel examinations, analyze jobs and workflow. Utilizes current county-wide and/or department specific software to complete assignments.
