Ah, the sweet smell of innovation. There's nothing like it, except maybe bacon. And, well, here in Michigan, it's all you can smell lately - innovation, not bacon. A study out of UM-Dearborn has seen an increase in innovation activity in the state.

Ferndale unveils master plan for future

Corridor into a hub for art and design. They want more public transit, as well as
more environmentally friendly redevelopment. The plan also looks to curb

Corp. to research and develop NanoPower Window technology, the
company's advanced solar photovoltaic technology. Yeah, that's a
mouthful. It's basically solar panels. It's another step towards
establishing Michigan as a major force in the alternative energy
