VIOPOINT turns efficiencies for clients into jobs, plans to hire 2-3
metromode, 8/7/2008
Five employees, three contractors and two years ago
VIOPOINT
got its start by helping businesses find efficient ways to protect their valuable information.
Today the company has eight employees and three contractors helping it expand in Auburn Hills, and expects to add another 2-3 employees within the next year.
VIOPOINT helps businesses streamline their password safety so it's easier for the right people to access the proper information. This means something as simple as giving people one universal password or as complex as requiring a fingerprint reader.
The firm has enjoyed 30-40 percent repeat business from the likes of
Delta Dental
and
ITC Transmission
. It hopes to spread its business across the country this year to help it grow even more.
"We aren't limited to the Michigan region," says Rob Cote, vice president of sales and marketing for VIOPOINT. "We go where the business is."
