As the economy continues to rebound, so does the bottom line of Testing Engineers & Consultants.
The Troy-based engineering consulting firm has hired 15 people in the last year, ranging from engineering technicians, engineering consultants, industrial hygienists and project managers. The 46-year-old firm's staff now has 68 employees at its Troy headquarters and offices in Ann Arbor and Detroit.
"Each of our departments are quite busy," says Nanette Rose, senior marketing specialist for
Testing Engineers & Consultants. "Across the board our business is much stronger."
Testing Engineers & Consultants provides professional engineering consulting services in the environmental, geotechnical, facilities engineering, and construction materials testing and inspection disciplines. It has watched its business grow as the federal government and local school districts continue to fund projects and the economy overall rebounds.
"I'm optimistic things here have come full circle," Rose says.
