Biotech firm, SensiGen, to move into Pfizer lab space

A University of Michigan spin-off, SensiGen, will occupy lab space in the Pfizer building, will hire four scientists and has been awarded $600,000 in capital funding.

The wet labs eventually will be leased by the University of Michigan, which plans to sublease space to [Ann Arbor] Spark for use by local technology startups.

In addition to SensiGen, a U-M spin-off, Spark is actively negotiating with three other companies for the wet lab space, said Elizabeth Parkinson, Spark spokeswoman.
