One of Us Films is looking to stand out in Detroit and beyond as the non-profit gets ready to grow more.

Carrie LeZotte, director of One of Us Films, started the company in 1994 as a student at Michigan State University. Today the Lafayette Park-based firm has expanded to four employees and is getting ready for some explosive growth. It also gives work to 20 freelance workers and an intern. The company's last intern recently became its most recent hire.
