LLamasoft moves to new Ann Arbor offices to accommodate growing staff

Supply chain software designer LLamasoft, Inc. is growing in leaps and bounds. In fact, they're leaping into a larger space less than a block away from their old Ann Arbor offices.

After adding three employees this year and with plans to bring on two to four more, the company simply needed more space. Their new improved South Fifth Street space includes additional offices for both programmers and customer support staff as well as increased conferencing capacity.

LLamasoft's proprietary supply chain management software --which enables their clients to stimulate and optimize their supply chain management-- has led to the capture of clients such as Dell, Unilever, General Mills and Frito-Lay. Since 2002, the company has doubled in size each year and after 2007's hires are complete, it will have reached nearly 20 employees.

In a statement, president Don Hicks said, "Growth brings both opportunity and challenges. For LLamasoft, our challenge during this time of rapid growth is to maintain our focus on and dedication to solving customer problems. Our commitment to customer issues is the root cause of our growth. In our new facilities, we will be better organized to provide a more effective customer experience even as the company scales up to serve new customers in new industry segments."
