Fyremobile expects 10-20 new hires this year
metromode, 5/14/2009
Fyremobile's
client list is like a who's who of cool kid start-ups in Metro Detroit, including Ohm Creative Group, 323East, and Paxahau. It helps explain why the company expects a big jump in employment this year.
The 2-year-old company currently employs four people and a couple of interns from Michigan State University. It's currently looking to hire 10-20 people for IT and sales positions within the next year.
"We're always looking for interns and bright young talent to join fyremobile," says Amity Dharia, its director of public relations.
The SMS marketing firm delivers development applications for mobile and web technologies and provides services and design improvements. The company helps facilitate between 400,000 and 500,000 messages a month.
It also helps companies reach the eyes they want watching by allowing them to establish a mobile identity and personalized keywords. The keywords are integrated with other marketing communications materials - such as newsletters, websites, e-marketing, TV, print and radio - similar to the way a telephone or email address would be included.
