Anthelio plans to grow its Michigan workforce by 200 people, with the Metro Detroit and Flint areas standing to gain most of those new jobs.
"We're committed to a couple hundred people plus in the next year," says Richard Ganick, CEO of
Anthelio. "We think this could grow to a few thousand people in Metro Detroit."
The Dallas-based firm provides IT and software services to hospitals, physician practice groups and other healthcare providers. It services a number of hospitals in Michigan, including the Detroit Medical Center and McLaren Health Care Corp in Flint. It currently employs 600 people throughout Michigan.
Ganick recently led a reinvestment in the company last year, changing its name to Anthelio and preparing it for a significant expansion. The company is currently choosing between two sites in Metro Detroit to create a tech center for its employees.
