Software firm Anthelio to add 200-plus jobs in Michigan

Anthelio plans to grow its Michigan workforce by 200 people, with the Metro Detroit and Flint areas standing to gain most of those new jobs.

"We're committed to a couple hundred people plus in the next year," says Richard Ganick, CEO of Anthelio. "We think this could grow to a few thousand people in Metro Detroit."

The Dallas-based firm provides IT and software services to hospitals, physician practice groups and other healthcare providers. It services a number of hospitals in Michigan, including the Detroit Medical Center and McLaren Health Care Corp in Flint. It currently employs 600 people throughout Michigan.

Ganick recently led a reinvestment in the company last year, changing its name to Anthelio and preparing it for a significant expansion. The company is currently choosing between two sites in Metro Detroit to create a tech center for its employees.
