Hovercrafting: Spectral Sounds star Todd Osborn spins soul-stirring jams at Ypsi's Elbow Room

Elbow Room
Todd Osborn
Sunday nights 10 p.m. - 2 a.m.

Say what, you've never had the privilege of seeing Todd Osborn play records? Oh, and you've missed his legendary live performances as Soundmurderer, or as part of the groups TNT and Starsky and Clutch?

Well, time to correct that in a most casual setting as the guy who fixes and flies planes, has fabricated a video game kiosk out of hospital equipment, and is building his own hovercraft gets set for another Sunday night of everything goes jams at the Elbow Room, 6 S.Washington St., Ypsilanti.

Osborn released one of 2008's best record in any genre, a glittery acid house masterpiece cleverly called Osborne (yes, with an "e") on Ann Arbor's Spectral Sound, the sister label of Ghostly International.

There is no cover, and Osborn spins for 21 and over, 10 p.m. - 2 a.m., every Sunday. Most definitely highly recommended.
