TV Bar
Tuesdays 10 p.m.

Detroit is Rock City, we know that. It's also Techno City, and known around the world for it's distinctive house music sound, not to mention soul, funk and blues.

The city's hip hop scene is often overlooked (despite the fact that Eminem is one of the biggest stars in the world). A new Tuesday night series is out to change that. With roots in Detroit urban music beloved worldwide, StoopidFresh Tuesdays is the next chapter in Detroit's underground music narrative.

DJ Dez aka Andres (DJ for Slum Village, Phat Kat, Dwele and others) and K-Fresh of Rensoul.com come together to play the best in old and new school hip hop, soul, funk, and electronic music. Special guests and free giveaways throughout the weekly event.

The night kicks off Tuesday, Dec. 2, and beats will roll every Tuesday, 10 p.m. - 2 a.m.
Cover is $5 and guests must be 21 and over.

At the TV Bar (formerly Half Past Three), 2548 - 2554 Grand River Ave., Detroit. Call 313-965-4789 for venue info.
