WOW factor: DJ Minx spins sexy house at new 'Rapture' Sunday night dance party

As DJ Minx, Jennifer Witcher has paraded her skills at Detroit area clubs since the late ’80s. She has headlined at Motor and played Tresor in Berlin; she’s mixed live on Detroit radio stations. The graduate of Pershing High formed Women on Wax, an all-female DJ collective initially, in 1996. She helped build it into an underground house institution with artists like vocalist Diviniti and Pirahnahead, creating some of the most sought-after interdisciplinary, minimal, funky, house music in Detroit.
