The result has been wealth, community status, political connections, and a reputation for philanthropy. For only two days The Henry Ford will display the original Emancipation Proclamation. How rare of an event is this? The last time this Civil War document came to Michigan was more than half a century ago.

There was a life-sized version of Mousetrap, flame-spewing vehicles, singing fish and the world's largest Coke meets Mentos experiment.
