Ren Cen renovates, reopens expanded version of its conference center
Model D, 4/22/2008
The
Renaissance Conference Center
has re-opened after a major renovation that expanded its square footage, added technology and enhanced its interior design. The 22,000-square-foot facility is located in Tower 300 of the Ren Cen and consists of six meeting rooms of various sizes.
Amenities include:
Expansive windows with views of the Detroit River and RiverWalk;
Catering and concierge services;
Satellite broadcast and video conferencing capabilities;
Wi-Fi and high-speed internet;
Built-in projection screens; and
A 1,000 square foot lobby for meeting registration, exhibits and receptions.
"The Center’s sophistication, amenities and spectacular view distinguish it from any other meeting venue in the city," said
Conrad Schwartz, director of asset management for General Motors, in a statement. "
We look forward to the new business and commerce the Center will bring to downtown Detroit and are delighted to have it located right here in the GM Renaissance Center.”
