Clawson streetscape improvements part of plan to create walkable downtown district

In their city's downtown, Clawson officials are planning road improvements and working towards bringing in more shoppers and continued retail investment.

Later this year, the city plans to spend $3 million through federal and state grants to improve 14 Mile, and next year it expects to spend another $3 million to rebuild Main Street. Both roads go through downtown, and the projects could help spur even more development, [City Manager Rich Haberman] said.
