More than 50% of the copper roofing has been installed, and most windows are in. “This building will be completely enclosed by the end of the year and will have permanent power by the end of the year,” says Ferchill.

Hotel rooms and condominiums have been drywalled and workers are currently installing bathroom tiles. Ferchill says a condominium unit on the twenty-fourth floor will be nearly complete by the end of the year.

As for the retail portion of the project, build-out will begin on the coffee and sundry shops in January, and Ferchill hopes to announce two restauranteurs by the end of the year.
