Rochester offers more places to charge your car

It is the wave of the future and Rochester is starting to catch a ride. Two electric car charging stations will be hooked up within eight weeks in the city. One plug-in will be installed downtown, says Kristi Trevarrow, executive director of the Rochester Downtown Development Authority. The other is likely to go in near near Rochester City Hall. A final decision on locations and pricing to users is expected this week.DTE Energy is providing $25,000 via a U.S. Department of Energy program for the equipment.
