Naviciti LLC is a Detroit-based mapping and digital design firm specializing in immersive virtual environments which enable users to virtually "experience" a given location using a variety of rich media, including audio, video, 3D animation and more.

Their MapDetroit.com site was followed by additional sites for the Detroit Zoo and Belle Isle, as well as maps for Pittsburgh, Las Vegas and Six Flags Amusement Parks.

New innovative sites include their Detroit1976.com site, which highlights historical buildings and aerial shots from the past. 

Soon, betterdetroit.com will be available, a free service that will allow residents to map out problems like burned out buildings and abandoned cars.  These issues will be searchable by category, date, location and other criteria.

Naviciti currently has six employees.  They expect to grow this year as demand grows for their unique and rich immersive experiences.
