Growth Companies

Milagro Post is a post production and visual effects studio who's primary business is creating high-level national and regional television spots for the Big Three car manufacturers: GM, Ford and DaimlerChrysler.

If you saw the "Fantastic Four" movie commercials for the Dodge last summer, you probably saw a spiffy-looking Dodge zoom through it. Making that car fly was Milagro's handiwork.

Partnered with many of the areas big ad agencies, the firm is predominantly focused on film services and supplying content for broadcast and the Internet. However, Milagro has begun to look into generating mobile phone content as well.

It's that kind of innovative thinking that has helped Milagro grow exponentially in its five year history, turning six employees into 30.

And the studio --which shares a lobby with audio facility Ron Rose Productions-- hopes to continue that growth trajectory. Milagro's leaders are hoping Michigan's new film industry tax incentives will bring in even more work and help them create even more revenue and jobs.

"We're starting to field calls from Hollywood already," co-founder Michael Suggs says. "We would be very happy to see some of that work here."
