The architecture firm, Kraemer Design Group, is more than just a couple handfuls of interior designers, consultants and, naturally, architects. Right now, the Detroit-based KDG employs 17 – with three staffers added in the last year, but soon that will change.
On April 1, the Group is moving into the Detroit Opera House Retail Center on the second floor. Their new digs will allow them to almost double their staff to 30 positions.
KDG was been recognized locally by Crain’s, as well as a nationally, for having a "Cool Place to Work."
"Our office space has been designed by our staff," founder Robert Kraemer says. "It reflects the open nature of our work spirit. We believe in creating creative environments for our clients and feel we need to ‘walk-the-walk and talk-the-talk,’ too, so our new space – just like our current space – is truly unique and reflects our creativity.”"
KDG clients include Google, Dave Bing and the Detroit Economic Growth Corporation.
