For 14 years Ann Arbor-based Fry, Inc. has weathered the dot.com market through bubble and burst. Nearly 300 strong, the web marketing and e-commerce branding firm has attracted an impressive roster of clients while growing its staff. In particular, the company has added almost 100 people and saw revenues jump 30 percent between 2006 and 2007.
From Eddie Bauer to Godiva Chocolatier to Meijer to Whirlpool, Fry offers strategy and marketing through design, development, managed services and fulfillment. In fact, the company was building branding sites and extranets before anyone knew what to call them. In 2007, online operations built and managed by Fry generated more than $1 billion for its clients.
Fry has offices in New York, Chicago and, in 2006, opened a new office in San Francisco. In 2007 the company acquired Pinnacle Rock Associates (PRA). Now a division of Fry, PRA's strategic consulting expertise has broadened their spectrum of solutions.
Helping retailers replace, renovate or rebuild their e-commerce platforms, Fry sees new potential in helping retailers utilize social networking sites to increase product awareness.
The future looks very bright indeed.
