Cielo is Spanish for "sky," which could possibly be the limit for this Ann Arbor-based company.
Founded in 2005, Cielo – a leading provider of healthcare software and information technology services – plans to see some major gains in the coming year or so.
However, right now, they are fairly modest in size with only nine employees in South East Michigan. Last year they added four and this year they plan to double their headcount to 18. But, by 2011, the idea is for Cielo to employee at least 80 people in the area.
Major clients of the company are St. John Regional Hospital, University of Michigan Health System and Oakland Southfield Physicians Group.
